What is Trafficking?

Human trafficking involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act. Every year, millions of men, women, and children are trafficked worldwide – including right here in the United States. It can happen in any community and victims can be any age, race, gender, or nationality.


Traffickers might use the following methods to lure victims into trafficking situations:

False Promises

Romantic Relationships

Language Barriers

    Hi! Thanks so much for stopping by, I'm glad you're here. I created un(SCRIPT) with the intent of creating awareness and education on what is human trafficking and how we can take steps to stop trafficking. I believe we can make a huge difference, one small step at a time.

  • Why I founded (un)Script

    I feel called to this cause, led by an unwavering desire to create a safe place for children in an unjust world. My goal is to create awareness and intervention against human trafficking through my platform, (un)SCRIPT, and the partnerships I have cultivated with O.U.R. Rescue and other like organizations. Growing up, I watched my family battle addictions. As the eldest of 10 children, I felt a great deal of responsibility and learned early on the value of community support and impact. I know I could have easily been a statistic. I want to help rewrite that script for others through education, advocacy and support of intervention programs; I believe I can make a difference, even if only one small step at a time.

Why I founded un(SCRIPT)

My goal is to create awareness and intervention against human trafficking through (un)SCRIPT and the partnerships I have cultivated with other organizations who have like-goals. Through education, advocacy and support of intervention programs, let’s work towards rewriting the script and taking a stand against trafficking. I believe we can make a difference, even if only one small step at a time.

Keep an eye out for potential trafficking situations and report any suspicions to law enforcement or anti-trafficking organizations.

Advocate for policy change:

Contact your elected officials and urge them to support laws and policies that combat human trafficking and protect survivors.
